Legal

Privacy, plainly.

Effective January 1, 2026
Last updated · Apr 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how site ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our services. We've tried to write this in plain English — no lawyer-ese where we can avoid it.

01 — INTRODUCTION

Who we are,and what this covers.

AI Store Builder helps people launch e-commerce stores using AI, paired with a course, community, and ongoing support. This Privacy Policy applies to all interactions with our website, mobile apps, and related services (together, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02 — COLLECTION

Informationwe collect.

We only collect what we need to run the Services, make them better, and meet our legal obligations. Here's the breakdown:

Information you give us

  • Account details. Name, email, password, and profile information when you sign up.
  • Store setup details. Niche, audience, preferences, and other answers you provide so the AI can build your store.
  • Payment information. When you subscribe through a partner like Wix, payment is processed by them — we don't store your card numbers.
  • Communications. Messages you send to support, community posts, reviews, and survey responses.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data. Browser type, operating system, IP address, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Services.
  • Cookies & similar tech. See the Cookies section below for the specifics.
  • Approximate location. Derived from your IP address to provide localized content and comply with regional regulations.

Information from third parties

  • Partners. Wix, TikTok, Snapchat, and other partners may share information about your store performance, ad activity, or referrals.
  • Social logins. If you sign in through a social account, we receive the profile data you authorize.

03 — USAGE

How weuse your information.

We use your information to:

  • Run the Services. Build and host your store, deliver course content, operate the community, and respond to support requests.
  • Improve the Services. Analyze usage, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Personalize your experience. Recommend products, relevant course modules, and community content.
  • Communicate with you. Send transactional emails (order confirmations, account notices), occasional product updates, and — if you opt in — marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • Prevent abuse. Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and protect users and our business.
  • Meet legal obligations. Comply with applicable laws, respond to valid legal requests, and defend our rights.

04 — SHARING

Who weshare it with.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties listed below, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service providers. Hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, and fraud prevention vendors who process data on our behalf under strict contracts.
  • Partners. Wix, TikTok, Snapchat, and similar partners — but only what's needed to set up your store or fulfill partner offers you've opted into.
  • Legal & safety. Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when legally required, or when we believe it's necessary to prevent fraud, protect rights, or protect the safety of users.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent. Anywhere else we've asked and you've said yes.

05 — COOKIES

Cookies andsimilar tech.

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage for three main reasons:

  • Essential. Keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, and securing your account.
  • Analytics. Understanding how the Services are used so we can make them better.
  • Marketing. Measuring the performance of our campaigns and showing relevant ads on partner platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie preferences panel. Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the Services.

06 — RETENTION

How long wekeep data.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes — for example, to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your profile information within 90 days, except where we're required to retain it by law.

07 — YOUR RIGHTS

Your rights,your choices.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Port your data to another service in a common format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@aistorebuilder.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland residents: We process your data under the GDPR and equivalent laws. Our legal bases are contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations, depending on the purpose.

08 — SECURITY

How weprotect data.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, regular audits, and employee training — to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to minimize risk. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.

09 — CHILDREN

The Services are not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we've collected data from a child, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

We operate globally, which means your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other legal mechanisms to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

11 — CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services evolve or as laws change. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
